Through adventure, service, and mentorship, the Dripping Springs Scouting Foundation fuels the development of outstanding young people who will lead our communities into the future.

About the Foundation

The Dripping Springs Scouting Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (EIN: 39-3838636) in good standing with the State of Texas and the IRS.

Our sole mission is to promote youth leadership and development by supporting one or more units of Scouting America in the Central Texas region. We operate in full alignment with the values and policies of Scouting America.

We are proud to support Troop 280, an exceptional Troop that has been operating for 30-years and is serving over 75 Scouts from the Dripping Springs area.

Our Impact

Troop 280 delivers life-changing experiences to youth through outdoor adventure, leadership training, and service to others. With your support, the Foundation helps make these opportunities accessible for all Scouts, especially older youth stepping into mentorship and leadership roles.

In just the past two years:

• 13 Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout

• Hundreds of community service hours have supported local parks, schools, churches, and nonprofits

• Monthly camping trips across Central Texas strengthen outdoor skills and resilience

• Dozens of Scouts have attended advanced leadership courses like NYLT

• High Adventure trips to places like Philmont, Northern Tier, and Sea Base inspire personal growth
  
  

These young people are becoming the leaders of tomorrow—in our schools, businesses, and communities.
