We meet weekly to build scout skills, have fun, and plan and prepare for campouts!
The below are general rules but the calendar can be found at ScoutBook.
Attending a weekly troop meeting is the best way for a scout to get to know the troop. The troop meets 3-4 times per month.
Days of the Month: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and any 5th Tuesday of the Month.
Time: 7pm-8:30pm
Exceptions: Nearly all DSISD holidays. An exception to this exception is we often meet the Tuesday ending winter break.
Meeting Place: Saint Martin de Porres parish hall, 1062 Post Oak Drive, Dripping Springs in the outdoor pavilion.
Required Invitees: The scouts that are part of the patrol leaders’ council which includes:
The senior patrol leader (SPL)
The assistant senior patrol leader (ASPL)
The patrol leaders for reach patrol and if they cannot make it the assistant patrol leader for that patrol will substitute
The scribe.
Required adults include the scoutmaster and all assistant scout masters are invited.
This meeting occurs on the fourth Tuesday of the month at a time/place indicated in Scoutbook.
The troop committee meeting is conducted online on the 1st Monday of the month at 7:00 pm. Links to previous minutes and the upcoming agenda are in the meeting notice. Troop leaders are asked to provide updates that the committee chair will include in the "concent agenda" part of the meeting agenda. They will not be discussed unless key points are important to update the general agenda of the committee meeting is:
