The troop employees a "continuous annual planning" scheme as follows.
Activity Planning: The scouts lead bi-annual planning assisted by adult leaders as described below. This mainly consists of specifics around activities. The outdoor coordinator schedules venues and equipment as early as required to secure them for scout use. See the section Youth-Led Planning through the Patrol Leaders Council.
Financial Planning: We are in the process of defining a quarterly financials statement for the troop committee review in addition to the annual statement we give the troop. This will be attached to the consent agenda for the troop meeting when it's ready and any issues discussed. During the update in the 4Q we will set annual troop due amounts based on previous 12-month and other historical learnings.
